공연

I watched the rest of the play from the wings just offstage, next to Davenport.

the wings(윙)는 무대 양옆에 커튼으로 가려져 관객에게는 보이지 않는 배우들의 대기 공간을 뜻합니다.
Justin was amazing, and Via, in that heartbreaking last scene, was awesome.
저스틴은 정말 훌륭했고, 그 가슴 아픈 마지막 장면에 등장한 비아는 정말 최고였다.
There was one line she flubbed a bit, but Justin covered for her, and no one in the audience even noticed.
비아가 대사 한 줄을 살짝 틀렸지만 저스틴이 잘 받아넘겨 주었고, 객석의 그 누구도 눈치채지 못했다.
I heard Davenport muttering under his breath: “Good, good, good.”
대븐포트 선생님이 곁에서 나지막이 중얼거리는 소리가 들렸다. “좋아, 아주 좋아.”
He was more nervous than all of the students put together: the actors, the set decorators, the lighting team, the guy handling the curtains.
