And my mom said, “Listen to your father.” And my brother said nothing. And my sister said nothing.
엄마도 거드셨어. “아빠 말 들어.” 형은 아무 말도 하지 않았고, 누나도 입을 다물었어.
And years later I found out my brother was wrong. I went to the library to look up the figures,

Some of them were trophies for their parents to show the neighbors like ribbons or gold stars. And some of them just wanted to drink in peace.
부모가 이웃들에게 자랑하려고 내세우는 리본이나 금메달 같은 트로피 신세인 애들도 있고, 그냥 조용히 술이나 마시고 싶어 하는 부모를 둔 애들도 있지.
For me personally, as much as I don’t understand my mom and dad and as much as I feel sorry for both of them sometimes,
