이 대화는 소설의 맨 처음에 나왔던 사건을 떠올리게 합니다. 원래의 삶에서 고양이 볼츠가 길에서 죽었을 때, 비를 맞으며 그 소식을 전해주고 장례까지 도와주었던 이가 바로 애쉬였죠.
