I think there are a few drops of milk left in my trough.”
“밥통에 우유가 몇 방울 남아 있는 것 같거든.”
“No, the trough is dry, and I want you to go to sleep. No more talking! Close your eyes and go to sleep!”
“아니, 밥통은 이미 말라 버렸어. 이제 그만 자야지. 더 이상 말하지 말고! 눈 감고 어서 자렴!”
Wilbur shut his eyes. Fern got up from her stool and started for home, her mind full of everything she had seen and heard.
윌버는 눈을 감았어요. 펀도 의자에서 일어나 보고 들은 모든 것을 가슴에 가득 담은 채 집을 향해 출발했답니다.

DAY AFTER day the spider waited, head-down, for an idea to come to her.
거미는 머리를 아래로 한 채, 좋은 생각이 떠오르기를 기다리며 하루하루를 보냈어요.

she was determined to keep her promise. Charlotte was naturally patient.

She knew from experience that if she waited long enough, a fly would come to her web;
