Professor Hora nodded. ″ 'The second's departed,' ″ Momo went on, ″ 'so he's not about' - that must be the past!″
The professor beamed at her and nodded again. ″Now comes the hard part,″ Momo said thoughtfully.
″What can the third brother be? He's the smallest of the three, but the other two can't manage without him, and he's the only one at home.″
