I heard one nurse say, “Oh, my God! She’s gone!,” while another one leaned down to give me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Just then, I saw them roll this machine in there, and they put the shocks on my chest.

When they did, I saw my whole body just jump right up off the bed,
“그 순간 제 몸 전체가 침대 위로 펄쩍 뛰어오르는 것을 보았어요.”

and I heard every bone in my body crack and pop. It was the most awful thing!

I was driving a friend of mine home in my car, and as I got to this particular intersection downtown,

I stopped and looked both ways, but I didn’t see a thing coming.
“일단 멈춰 서서 양쪽을 살폈는데, 아무것도 오지 않는 것 같았습니다.”
I pulled on out into the intersection and as I did I heard my friend yell at the top of his voice.
“그래서 교차로로 들어섰는데, 갑자기 친구가 목이 터져라 비명을 지르더군요.”
When I looked I saw a blinding light, the headlights of a car that was speeding towards us.
“고개를 돌려 보니 우리 쪽으로 돌진해 오는 자동차의 눈부신 헤드라이트 불빛이 보였습니다.”
