Candy and Lennie stood up and went toward the door.
Crooks called, “Candy!” “Huh?” “’Member what I said about hoein’ and doin’ odd jobs?
“Yeah,” said Candy. “I remember.” “Well, jus’ forget it,” said Crooks.
