지난 기록에서 하루가 지난 뒤의 새로운 일기입니다.
Dearest Kitty, a new idea: during meals I talk more to myself than to the others, which has two advantages.
사랑하는 키티, 새로운 묘책이 하나 생겼어. 식사 시간엔 남들보다 나 자신이랑 더 많이 대화하기로 한 거야. 여기엔 두 가지 장점이 있지.
First, they're glad they don't have to listen to my continuous chatter, and second, I don't have to get annoyed by their opinions.
첫째는 사람들이 내 끊임없는 수다를 안 들어도 되니 좋아하고, 둘째는 나도 그들의 의견 때문에 짜증 낼 일이 없다는 거야.
I don't think my opinions are stupid but other people do, so it's better to keep them to myself.
난 내 생각이 어리석다고 생각하지 않지만 다른 사람들은 그렇게 보니까, 그냥 내 마음속에만 담아두는 게 상책이지.
