“How did the man do it?” Conor could feel the monster close behind him,
“그 남자가 어떻게 했는데?” 코너는 몬스터가 바로 뒤에 와 있다는 것을 느낄 수 있었다.

몬스터가 무릎을 굽히고 얼굴을 귓가에 바짝 들이댄 채, 나머지 이야기를 속삭이려 한다는 사실을 그는 알고 있었다.

“그는 괴물을 불렀단다.” 몬스터가 말했다. 그러더니 코너를 지나 거대한 손을 뻗어 해리를 바닥 저편으로 날려 버렸다.
코너의 분노가 몬스터의 힘을 빌려 폭발합니다. 괴물을 불렀다는 표현은 코너가 자신의 내면에 숨겨진 공격성을 마침내 표출했음을 의미하죠.
Trays clattered and people screamed as Harry tumbled past them.
해리가 굴러갈 때 식판들이 요란하게 흩어졌고 아이들은 비명을 질렀다.
Anton and Sully looked aghast, first at Harry, then back at Conor. Their faces changed as they saw him.
안톤과 설리는 경악한 표정으로 해리를 보다가 코너를 돌아보았다. 코너를 마주한 그들의 얼굴이 순식간에 변했다.
Conor took another step towards them, feeling the monster towering behind him.
코너는 뒤에서 버티고 선 몬스터의 위압감을 느끼며 그들에게 한 걸음 더 다가갔다.
Anton and Sully turned and ran. “What do you think you’re playing at, O’Malley?”
안톤과 설리는 걸음아 나 살려라 도망쳤다. “너 지금 뭐 하는 짓이야, 오말리?”
Harry said as he pulled himself up from the floor, holding his forehead where he’d hit it as he fell.
바닥에 부딪힌 이마를 움켜쥐며 해리가 몸을 일으켰다.
He took his hand away and a few people screamed as they saw blood.
해리가 손을 떼자 피를 본 아이들 몇몇이 비명을 질렀다.
Conor kept moving forward, people scrambling to get out of his way.
코너는 계속 앞으로 나아갔고, 아이들은 서둘러 길을 비켜주었다.
